Despite initial projections of a $4.3 million North American debut by comScore, ‘Fighter’ achieved a commendable $3.7 million collection in the region.
The cinematic spectacle secured the 6th highest collection for the weekend, with Jason Statham’s ‘The Beekeeper’ leading the pack in its third week, raking in $7.4 million and crossing the $100 million milestone globally.
In the fiercely competitive landscape, the ‘Mean Girls’ musical closely trailed behind in its third weekend, accumulating $7.3 million. Meanwhile, ‘Wonka’ added $5.9 million in its seventh weekend, inching closer to the $200 million domestic mark with a current total of $195.2 million in North America and a global tally of $552 million.

Released in IMAX, ‘Fighter’ showcased its dominance with a global earnings of $1.4 million from 150 screens in 15 markets.

Remarkably, the film showcased its prowess in its home country, India, with an extraordinary performance over the extended Republic Day weekend. The estimated collection of Rs 120 crore ($14.4 million) from India marked a stellar beginning for ‘Fighter.’
Day 1 witnessed an impressive Rs 22.5 crore, followed by a substantial rise on Day 2 with Rs 39.5 crore. Despite a Saturday drop, the film rounded off the weekend with a collection of Rs 28.50 crore, as per early estimates on Sacnilk.com. ‘Fighter’ has truly taken flight, conquering both domestic and international audiences with its gripping narrative and stellar performances.
