Shahid Kapoor would love to do Kriti Sanon’s role in Mimi – Exclusive | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon are two of the brightest stars of Hindi Cinema. While Shahid has completed 21 years in the business starting with Ishq Vishk in 2003, Kriti entered the world of movies with 1: Nenokkadine and Heropanti in 2014. The duo are coming together for the first time in Dinesh Vijan’s Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. The story revolves around Shahid’s character playing an engineer, who falls in love with a robot called Sifra played by Kriti Sanon.

The actors in their exclusive conversation with ETimes, shared if they could do one film from each other’s filmmography, which one would they choose and why.
Starting with Shahid, he chose Kriti’s National award winning performance from the film Mimi, and said, “I would love to do Mimi, but I would be so inadept at portraying maternal instincts, that every woman would personally come and kick my ass and say that a man can’t do this job!”
“I think it has been the most challenging role for Kriti …as an actor to get an opportunity like that, would be something I would choose for sure,” he added.
On the other hand, Kriti chose Jab We Met. She said, “I’ve told Shahid that it is one film that I’ve seen three times in the theater.” Shahid, believing that she would like to play Geet in the movie, interrupts her saying she has to choose one of his individual performances. To this, she says, “Then I would love to do Kaminey… it was very challenging and Shahid killed it completely.”
