Rakul Preet Singh is rumoured to tie the knot with long term boyfriend Jackky Bhagnani in Goa next month. While the wedding venue has now been locked in as Goa, reports suggest that this was not the original plan. The couple had initially planned a destination wedding in the Middle East after six months of meticulous planning. But here’s what made them change their venue from abroad to India.
As per reports, Rakul and Jackky want to be responsible citizens and abide by Prime Minister Narendra Modi‘s initiative as he has asked influential people in the country to host grand festivities in the country itself. This call was taken by the PM amidst the whole Lakshwadeep-Maldives row and the initiative to promote tourism in India. Hence, Jackky and Rakul decided to relocate their wedding destination despite all the initial preparation in place. They’ve decided to display love for their own country and be responsible citizens which helps them contribute to the economy of our own country.
It’s quite evident from Rakul’s Instagram that she is a beach baby and loves her beach holidays. So, one can expect her wedding to be all things dreamy amidst the beautiful Goa that is filled with beaches!
The duo is set to tie the knot on February 21, though none of them have given an official confirmation to this. At the moment, Jackky is busy with the shoot and post-production of Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff’s ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’. Jacckky is the producer on the film along with his sister Deepshikha Deshmukh.
Meanwhile, Rakul is busy with multiple projects in different languages like ‘Indian 2’, ‘Ayalaan’ among others.
