In a show of support, actor Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor has come forward to defend Deepika Padukone against allegations of being ‘stereotyped’ in her roles. The ‘Mirzya’ star, who was actively engaging on social media last evening, encountered a report suggesting that Padukone, known for her versatility, was being pigeonholed with her latest film choices.
The report went a step further, suggesting that the ‘Fighter’ actress required a ‘paradigm shift’ in her filmography, cautioning that time was running out.
Dismissing these claims, Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor took to Twitter to express his support for Deepika and her film choices. He vehemently defended her, stating, “Deepika’s performance in Gehraiyaan is one of the best performances of recent times by any actress…”Kapoor not only praised DP’s acting prowess but also demanded that she be given the respect she deserves.
