Alia Bhatt and Sharvari better be sharpening their spy skills to go undercover in the next instalment of Yash Raj Films’ (YRF) Spy Universe.
The highly anticipated film, which is said to be the first female-led spy movie in Bollywood, has now got its director on board. According to the latest reports, Aditya Chopra has finally locked in on the director to helm this film. Pinkvilla reports that acclaimed director Shiv Rawait, best known for his work on ‘The Railway Men’, will be at the helm of this ambitious film that will reportedly play a pivotal part in the continuation of this spy franchise.
Sources close to the development have disclosed that Chopra views Rawail as the ‘potential’ to helm this female-led film of the ambitious spy universe. The report claims that the director has been in talks with Chopra for a while and that things are finally now on paper. With the director now finalised, it must be seen when work on the project will commence. Both actresses will reportedly be undergoing an intensive 3-month preparation course to master their action sequences. The shoot, on the other hand, is anticipated to take place in various international locations.
Sharvari has already been dedicating herself to enhancing her fitness levels, engaging in training sessions with multiple coaches across the city.
