This is how much Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone charged to star in ‘Fighter’
After being arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Ashwini Sharma from Haryana and Rajesh Ranjan from Mumbai admitted to deceiving other film stars as well. The ACB’s investigation led to the seizure of Rs 2.94 crores, including gold, along with substantial properties in Navi Mumbai, Haryana, and Dalhousie.
A report in India Today stated that on October 30, 2012, Rakesh Roshan applied to the trial court to recover his Rs 50 lakhs. In 2014, the court allowed him to retrieve Rs 30 lakhs, but held back the remaining Rs 20 lakhs. Dissatisfied, Roshan, represented by lawyer Prasanna Bhangale, approached the High Court, arguing that the CBI’s case indicated one accused took Rs 20 lakhs, while the other took Rs 30 lakhs. The accused who took Rs 20 lakhs, had no objection to Roshan reclaiming that amount, raising questions about withholding of the remaining sum.
