Hrithik Roshan-Deepika Padukone’s ‘Fighter’ gets legal notice from IAF officer over a kissing scene. Deets inside
India TV reported on Tuesday that Fighter received a legal notice concerning a kissing scene involving the lead actors. The notice was issued by Wing Commander Saumya Deep Das, an officer of the Indian Air Force. According to the notice, the film misrepresents the dignity of the Indian Air Force symbol by incorporating it into a scene promoting personal romantic relationships, thus devaluing the sacrifices made by officers in service of the nation.
Additionally, the notice stated that the film normalizes inappropriate behavior in uniform, which sets a dangerous precedent and undermines the moral and ethical standards expected from those entrusted with safeguarding borders. The act of kissing in uniform, particularly on a runway within a technical area, is deemed grossly inappropriate and unbecoming of an IAF officer. This portrayal contradicts the high standards of discipline and decorum expected from them.
