According to a report in Business Today, Jaya declared her personal net worth as Rs 1.63 crore for the financial year 2022-23, while the affidavit stated Amitabh Bachchan’s net worth for the same year as Rs 273.74 crore.
According to the affidavit, Jaya’s bank balance is Rs 10.11 crore, while Amitabh’s bank balance is Rs 120.45 crore. Their combined movable property is valued at Rs 849.11 crore, with immovable property amounting to Rs 729.77 crore.

As per the election affidavit, their combined assets include property acquired through various sources. Jaya’s wealth comes from her earnings through endorsements, her salary as an MP, and her fees as an actor. Amitabh’s income sources include interest, rent, dividends, capital gains, revenue generated by a solar plant, and professional fees as an actor.
According to another report in The Times of India, Jaya owns jewellery valued at Rs 40.97 crore and one car worth Rs 9.82 lakh. Amitabh, on the other hand, possesses jewellery worth Rs 54.77 crore and 16 vehicles valued at Rs 17.66 crore, including two Mercedes and a Range Rover.
In 2018, Jaya had declared her combined assets with husband Amitabh Bachchan worth Rs 1000 crore.
Jaya has been relatively inactive in the film industry for several years but made a comeback with Karan Johar’s film in 2023. Meanwhile, Amitabh regularly appears on television in Kaun Banega Crorepati and continues to feature in movies. His recent appearance was in the 2023 film Ganapath. Additionally, he is set to star in Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD and the Rajinikanth-starrer Vettaiyan this year.
