The UK-Polish historical drama about Auschwitz concentration camp, The Zone of Interest, based on the 2014 novel by Martin Amis, won the BAFTA for the Best Film not in the English language.Deepika called director Jonathan Glazer on stage and presented him with the award.
Before the ceremony, Deepika treated fans with a glimpse of her look. She was seen making a grand entrance at the venue, leaving her fans gasping for breath with her stunning look. She happily greeted her fans and also obliged them with autographs.
Just a few days prior to the ceremony, Deepika expressed gratitude for being chosen as a BAFTA Award presenter. The list also included former England football star David Beckham, singer Dua Lipa, Cate Blanchett, Adjoa Andoh of ‘Bridgerton’ fame, ‘Wonka’ Oompa Loompa Hugh Grant and ‘Emily in Paris’s’ Lily Collins.

The 77th BAFTA Film Awards ceremony took place on February 18 at London’s Royal Festival Hall, which serves as the ceremony’s venue for the second year in a row after several years at Royal Albert Hall. In India, the awards will be streaming live on Lionsgate Play from 12:30 a.m. onwards.
Attendees included ‘Saltburn’ star Barry Keoghan, ‘Maestro’ actors Bradley Cooper and Carey Mulligan, ‘Oppenheimer’ lead Cillian Murphy and directors Greta Gerwig, Christopher Nolan, Celine Song and Yorgos Lanthimos.
Last year, Deepika made India proud as she was one of the presenters at the Oscars 2023.
