Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, proud parents of their daughter Vamika, have joyfully welcomed their second child, a baby boy. Despite keeping their pregnancy under wraps, the couple recently revealed the arrival of their newest family member in a post.

It read, “With abundant happiness and our hearts all of love, we are pleased to inform everyone that on 15th February, we welcomed our baby boy Akaay & Vamika’s little brother into this world! We seek your blessings and good wishes in this beautiful time in our lives.We request you to kindly respect our privacy at this time. Love & Gratitude. Virat & Anushka,” read the statement from Anushka Sharma on her Instagram post.”

In 2021, Kohli demonstrated his commitment to family when, as the captain, he left the Australian Test series after the first match to be present for the birth of his first child with Anushka Sharma.

Initially, the Indian star opted out of the first two Tests against England, following India’s loss in the first match in Hyderabad and victory in the second in Vizag. However, he later withdrew from the entire series, citing personal reasons, with the full support of the BCCI.
Kohli and Anushka Sharma tied the knot in 2017. The star couple celebrated the third birthday of Vamika, their daughter, on 11 January 2021.
