Rakul Preet Singh’s bridal outfit was a beautifully crafted lehenga adorned with hand-embroidered floral designs in ivory and blush colors. Her blouse had sheer sleeves decorated with pearls and crystals. The veil, made of structured tulle, cascaded elegantly and was adorned with stars and Swarovski crystals. Tarun Tahiliani designed the outfit, blending modern elements with floral motifs as per Singh’s preference.
For the groom, Bhagnani chose an ivory chikankari sherwani adorned with the intricate ‘chinar’ motif, a design that took six months to create. The ensemble also included Tahiliani’s signature pleated stole. Each detail was carefully hand-embroidered using silk threads and authentic zardozi techniques from Tahiliani’s design studio. Through this creation, Tarun Tahiliani paid homage to the craftsmanship inspired by the beauty, culture, and artistry of Kashmir.
