Emraan Hashmi had earned the tag of ‘Serial Kisser’ as the man had a kiss in almost all his films, starting from Murder. But with time, he reduced his projects, but with his next, which is Karan Johar backed web show Showtime, he’s back to his kissing ways.
The actor, who was in conversation with Bollywood Hungama, recently shared an anecdote where an adult male gave a flying kiss to him.The actor shared that he didn’t know how to react, as he gets a little uncomfortable when it comes from a man, but is ok when it comes from a woman. He also added that he didn’t react to the man who sent him a flying kiss.
The actor also highlighted that it wasn’t any internal voice which made him reduce his kissing scenes in his film, rather it was the voice of his wife, and that is the only voice he hears.
Emraan was also asked if there was any time when he insisted that a kiss be added to his film, and he said that he’s an actor who always wanted to tone it down. But, it was the image that built up, and many producers took advantage of it and it became a staple to please the audience. He also added that it kind of became funny, like when he would see his old films and see a scene, he would feel that it was not required at all.
