As fans buckle up to take flight with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, Kriti Sanon, and Diljit Dosanjh in the new Bollywood film ‘Crew‘, the release of its varied film posters have triggered some wild speculations and theories.
The makers on Friday dropped some cool posters that saw the three leading ladies in three distinctly different looks. While one saw them in their flight attendant uniforms, another saw them rocking a 70’s vibe in sarees, while the other saw them in their element, rocking some fashion-forward ensembles.While at first, the movie seemed like a fun comedy with Bebo, Tabu and Kriti playing flight attendants, the other posters promoted speculation that the film could be a heist movie.

It wasn’t long before netizens began drawing comparisons to iconic Hollywood movies such as Cameron Diaz, Lucy Liu and Drew Barrymore’s ‘Charlie’s Angels‘ and Leonardo DiCaprio‘s ‘Catch Me If You Can’. Ahead of the trailer drop, fans found themselves eagerly dissecting the posters to guess the mystery behind the film’s plot.

Reddit users noted the striking resemblance between the ‘Crew’ posters and that of the crime-fighting trio ‘Charlie’s Angels’. However, others seemed convinced that the movie was about a heist, with some fans highlighting that Kareena previously revealed that the film is more aligned with ‘Catch Me If You Can’.

Directed by Rajesh A Krishnan ‘Crew’ the first trailer of the film is expected to drop online today.
According to reports, the movie, set against the backdrop of the struggling airline industry, follows the story of three women and their destinies which lead them to some unwarranted situations as they get caught in a web of lies.

The movie marks the second collaboration between Ektaa R Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor after the 2018 female buddy comedy ‘Veere Di Wedding’.
‘Crew’ arrives in theatres on March 29, 2024.
