Navya Naveli Nanda, granddaughter of Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, has opted for entrepreneurship over a career in movies. She works at her father Nikhil Nanda’s company, Escorts Group, besides having her own ventures and NGOs. Despite a filmy background from her mother’s side, Navya is carving her own path in entrepreneurship. Recently, she shared insights about her family’s legacy at an event.
In a conversation with ABP, Navya Naveli Nanda acknowledged the influence of her privileged background on her career path.She highlighted her efforts to establish her own identity and leverage the opportunities provided by her family from a young age. Navya expressed her commitment to upholding her family’s legacy, stating that everyone has a last name and everyone has a responsibility to carry their legacy forward, irrespective of the field that they are in. And she is doing her bit to take the legacy forward and doing the best she can to make her family proud.
She also gave credit to her family, highlighting that she was given a lot of opportunities at a very young age that most young girls at her age don’t get. Navya expressed that it is important for her to make the best of those opportunities.
