During an interaction with Siddharth Kannan, Khan disclosed that he witnessed disagreements between Aamir and Salman on multiple occasions.
He admitted to playing the role of mediator between them due to his close friendship with Salman since childhood.
One of the main points of contention was their contrasting work schedules. Aamir, known for his punctuality, would arrive at the Mud Island bungalow as early as 7-7:30 am, despite the call time being 9 am. On the other hand, Salman, who lived in Bandra, would typically arrive much later, around 10-11 am, due to various challenges like car troubles and other delays.
Khan defended Salman, highlighting the difficulties of commuting from Bandra to the set. He explained that despite the differences in their approaches, both actors delivered exceptional performances, regardless of the number of takes required to achieve perfection.
