Ananya Panday, who was recently seen in ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’ with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav, opened up about having done some films in the past for the wrong reasons.
In an interview with Film Companion, Ananya said that she never believed in any of the films that she did. But, it strengthened her conviction in pursuing films for genuine motivations.
“I think I may have pursued it for the wrong reasons initially, and deep down, I always had a sense of that. When things didn’t go as expected, it just reinforced my belief in following my instincts. Working with talented individuals and believing in the script always yields positive results in some way,” Ananya added.

She also emphasized that she has lost herself and started falling in love with the process of acting, which makes her feel more responsible with the roles that she does. She doesn’t want to do less because it will disappoint many women and girls out there. She will be portraying them on screen and will be narrating their stories, so it would be unfair to take such roles lightly.
