The political thriller ‘Article 370‘, starring Yami Gautam in the lead, has managed to maintain its hold over the domestic box office in its second week. The film maintained its momentum and managed to retain 60% of its first-week earnings.
According to reports on sacnilk.com, the movie had a rather successful run on week two, amassing an estimated Rs 22 crore nett. After a hit weekend, amassing Rs 15.25 crores net, ‘Article 370’ sustained its stride, maintaining earnings above the Rs 1.50 crores mark on its regular working weekdays. It accumulated an estimated Rs 6.75 crores net between Monday to Thursday.

‘Article 370’ managed to garner significant traction, particularly in Maharashtra, Delhi, and Gujarat. These three states have emerged as the top contributors, accounting for over 50% of the film’s total collection thus far.
The film has now set its sights on crossing the Rs 70 crore net mark, which would cement its spot as a superhit.
While the film enjoyed an undisputed run at the box office, it will soon face competition from the Ajay Devgn-starrer ‘Shaitaan‘.
