Shaitaan box office collection: Ajay Devgn starrer horror drama crosses Rs 120 crore | – Times of India


‘Shaitaan‘, starring Ajay Devgn, R Madhavan and Jyotika, managed to enter the coveted 100 crore club in 10 days, but has since slowed down at the box office. New releases like Yodha and Kung Fu Panda 4 have affected its theatrical run.
On its third Saturday, the film added Rs 4.3 crore to its total, which now stands at Rs 120.95 crore, reports Sacnilk. At the worldwide box office, ‘Shaitaan’ has managed to earn Rs 167.80 crore in 15 days.
Directed by Vikas Bahl, ‘Shaitaan’ is a remake of Gujarati movie titled Vash. The film narrates the story of a family held hostage at their home by a man with supernatural powers. Ajay and Jyothika play parents to Janki Bodiwala in this movie, wherein R Madhavan plays the role of the antagonist.

Post ‘Shaitaan’, Ajay Devgn will be seen essaying the lead in ‘Maidaan’. He plays the role of Coach Syed Abdul Rahim in this sports drama. Announcing the film’s release date, the actor had shared, “Asli khiladi dikhenge, asli #Maidaan mein.
