Filmmaker Ashoke Pandit (President, Indian Film & TV Directors Association) has spoken against it as he told ETimes, “There has been a threat perception on the life of Salman Khan since a very long time.He has been threatened by khalistani organizations earlier, and that’s why the state of Maharashtra has provided him with adequate security. Earlier also, they had found a letter which was a threatening letter to his life. The two bikers who fired outside his house, shows the guts with which these criminals are active. Especially those people who have threatened him earlier also.”

Pandit further showed faith that the bikers would be caught soon and added, “I’m sure that the state of Maharashtra, Mumbai police will nab these two bikers who fired outside his house, very soon. I on behalf of Indian Film and Television Directors association and Indian Motion pictures producers Association (IMPAA) would like to, show our concern towards Salman Khan’s, life, his protection and his dignity. And I’m sure the state of Maharashtra will, definitely look into it and see to it that this actions are not repeated again.”
As per reports, Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde has also spoken to Khan and asked the Commisioner to increase the security for the actor.
