Bade Miyan Chote Miyan Box Office Collection: Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff starrer drops by 21% on second Friday | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and starring Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead, was one of the most keenly awaited films of the year. But it has been struggling at the box office from the day of its release and with every passing day, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan has been seeing a decline in business.
The film opened during Eid to an underwhelming number of Rs 15.65 crore and in the extended first week, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan failed to cross the Rs 50 crore mark.On its second Friday, the film only managed to earn Rs 1.3 crore which was a 21% drop from its Thursday business of Rs 1.6 crore, thus finally crossing the Rs 50 crore mark. The total collection of the film currently stands at Rs 51.20 crore, reports sacnilk. The film’s reported budget is Rs 350 crore out of which a major chunk of money has gone into the salaries of its leading actor. As per a report featured in Financial Express, Akshay charged around Rs 80 crore, Tiger charged Rs 40 crore, Prithviraj charged Rs 5 crore, while all three actresses – Manushi Chillar, Alaya F and Sonakshi Sinha – charged anywhere between Rs 1 to Rs 2 crore.
The only thing in favor of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is that there are no other big films releasing in the next few weeks, so it has a free run at the box office. The present trend suggests that Bade Miyan Chote Miyan will earn around Rs 60- Rs70 crore at the end of its theatrical run.
