Unfortunately, before reaching Nirsa Market Chowk, their speeding car (WB44D-2899) collided with a divider, causing severe damage to the vehicle’s front. Both individuals were rescued by police and locals and rushed to Dhanbad Medical College Hospital. Despite emergency efforts, Rajesh Tiwari succumbed to his injuries, while Sarita Tiwari was admitted to the surgical ICU in critical condition.

The statement mentioned that his last rites would be conducted on the same day in the presence of close family members. Pankaj Tripathi was en route to his village in Gopalganj at the time.
