Deepika Padukone receives flowers as Lady Singham | undefined Movie News – Times of India

About two weeks ago, Rohit Shetty took to Instagram to introduce Deepika Padukone as Lady Singham, a part of his next film, “Singham Again,” which features Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Arjun Kapoor in the lead. Sharing a picture of Deepika, Rohit wrote, “MY HERO… REEL MEIN BHI AUR REAL MEIN BHI LADY SINGHAM!!! @deepikapadukone.” Now, on 1st May, Deepika has shared an image of a bouquet filled with vibrant pink, red, and white flowers.The bouquet had a note attached to it which read, ‘To our hero, Lady Singham.’

“Singham Again” is Rohit Shetty’s third installment in the Singham franchise and fifth in his Cop Universe. The film was slated to release on 15th August, but the team decided to move away from that date as they felt the shooting was taking longer than expected, and there was no point in rushing to meet a particular date. With this change, “Singham Again” also avoids a clash with “Pushpa 2: The Rise” starring Allu Arjun. The film’s north India theatrical rights are said to be bought for more than Rs 100 crore by distributor Anil Thadani.
“Singham Again” is currently being shot at Film City in Mumbai, where mostly Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty’s portions are being filmed. Deepika and Tiger Shroff also joined the team a few weeks ago to shoot her scenes, marking her first film shoot after announcing her pregnancy. She and Ranveer Singh are expecting their first child in September. The film will feature guest appearances by Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Ranveer Singh.
