Bale, who will be seen portraying Frankenstein’s Monster, and his co-star Buckley, who will play ‘The Bride’, were seen shooting an intimate moment on the sets. The two, dressed in full costume and makeup, were filmed sharing a passionate kiss on the New York City sets. Photos and videos of the same have since gone viral online.

Going by the videos, the romantic kiss scene seemed to turn into a chase sequence, with the two actors holding hands as they run through the streets together.

Set against the backdrop of 1930s Chicago, ‘The Bride’ offers a fresh interpretation of the timeless Frankenstein tale. Bale’s portrayal of the undead monster and Buckley’s depiction of a resurrected young woman promises an exploration of love and defiance.
Director Gyllenhaal shared the first-look images of her lead stars last month. Buckley, on the other hand, featured bleached blond hair and a pale white complexion with a black splotch on her face.
‘The Bride’ features an ensemble cast, including Annette Bening, Julianne Hough, Penelope Cruz and Peter Sarsgaard, among others.
This isn’t the only Hollywood adaptation of the Frankenstein saga currently in the works. Oscar-winner Guillermo del Toro is concurrently crafting his own rendition of the classic tale, boasting a stellar cast including Jacob Elordi, Oscar Isaac, Mia Goth, and Christoph Waltz.
