In an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha, Richa Chadha said, “I began shooting for Heeramandi literally 10-15 days before my wedding. And at that time, there was no thought of motherhood in the immediate future on my mind.”
No wonder that Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s debut series – ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’, holds special significance for Richa as it coincided with her wedding festivities.
Further, in the same interview, she shared insights into her impending journey into motherhood. She candidly expressed uncertainty about her approach to parenting, likening it to crafting a novel without a predetermined storyline. Richa stressed the importance of allowing instincts to guide her, citing the popular adage that “it’s the child that gives birth to the mother.”
