He shared that filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj approached him for a Bollywood film around 5-6 years back. However, due to certain circumstances, the project didn’t materialize with Fahadh, and another actor took on the role eventually.
Recalling the incident, Fahadh stated, “I had said yes to the first (Hindi) script that came to me. This was like five to six years back. He (Vishal Bhardwaj) couldn’t sort of put it in place. Eventually, he had to do it with another actor, and I had moved on by then. Nothing serious so far.”

When asked about his interest in doing a Hindi film in the future, Fahadh expressed openness to the idea despite his limited proficiency in Hindi. He humorously suggested, “I understand very little Hindi. So I will have to play a South Indian who speaks Hindi in Kashmir or something. I am open to it (doing a Hindi film). I have done Telugu films; I have done Tamil films. So, someday I want to do it (a Hindi film), but I don’t know when.”
During the conversation, Fahadh also mentioned his friendly rapport with several Bollywood personalities, including director-producer Karan Johar. He revealed that KJo often reaches out to him after watching his films.
Fahadh Faasil’s recent work includes the Malayalam film Aavesham. He is eagerly anticipated in the upcoming action-packed Pushpa 2: The Rule and has the much-talked-about Vettaiyan with Rajinikanth in the pipeline.
