Sunny Deol, who has worked with the filmmaker in ‘Zor‘ and ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana 2‘, condoled the death of the director on social media.

Taking to his X handle, he shared some lovely throwback photos with Sangeeth from the sets of the film and wrote, ‘Shocked to hear about the passing away of my dear friend @sangeethsivan , can’t believe that you are no longer amongst us, but you will always be with us in our hearts and memories .Om Shanti my friend , may your family get the strength to overcome your loss’.
The eldest son of esteemed photographer and cinematographer Sivan, Sangeeth was born in 1959. He completed his studies at MG College and Mar Ivanios College before embarking on his career, initially collaborating with his father on documentaries.
Sangeeth was the elder sibling of the National Award-winning cinematographer-director Santosh Sivan and renowned filmmaker Sanjeev Sivan. He is survived by his wife, Jayashree, and children, Sajana and Shanthanu, as reported by Asianet News.
