In the interview with Siddharth Kannan, Dino clarified that there was never any animosity between him and John, despite media speculations stating that John took his girlfriend.He mentioned that there’s no rivalry between them and also clarified that John started dating Bipasha after their breakup and by that time, he had also started dating somebody else.
He stated, “We never had any rivalry. We used to talk to each other and have fun with each other. The talk about the rivalry between us started in people’s minds after I broke up with Bipasha and he started dating Bipasha. People started thinking that he was dating my girlfriend, so there was a rivalry, media also fueled this. But there has never been any rivalry. We both have been on our own paths. Only yesterday I texted him, ‘Are we going for a bike ride or a coffee?’”

Regarding his relationship with Bipasha, Dino reminisced about their initial meeting through a blind date set up by a common friend. He described their early days as both were starting their careers as supermodels. However, he revealed that their relationship faced challenges during the filming of Raaz and ultimately ended during their work on Gunaah.
“After Raaz when we did Gunaah that was the toughest time because we were breaking up, it was over,” Dino said. He also shared insights into his dating experiences, including a brief relationship with Lara Dutta, describing them as ‘a roller coaster ride.’
Despite the ups and downs, Dino maintains cordial relationships with his exes’ partners, mentioning his interactions with John Abraham, Karan Singh Grover, Mahesh Bhupathi, and Vidyut Jammwal. “There has never been an intent of harm. I meet them normally. I know Karan from before, we had worked together on a film. I met everybody,” Dino said. He also expressed his admiration for John’s success in the industry, adding, “I take my hat off for that guy, he has conducted himself well.”
