Rajkummar Rao’s next to go floors in Varanasi – Exclusive | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Rajkummar Rao is on a roll, the actor who already has four films in hand out of which two are up for release in the month of May, is all set to start his next film very soon. Rajkummar is in the midst of promoting his upcoming film Srikanth, also has Mr and Mrs Mahi – his first Dharma film with Jahnvi Kapoor, lined up for release on 31st May. Besides this he has Stree 2 with Shraddha Kapoor, Aparshakti Khurrana, Pankaj Tripathi and Abhishek Banerjee releasing in August and Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video with Tripti Dimrii arriving in October.In an exclusive interview with ETimes, the actor shared that he has been facing scheduling and date issues as he has back to back shootings for all his films.

ETimes has now exclusively learnt that the actor is all set for take off for a two month long schedule on the ghats of Banaras for his upcoming film Bhul Chuk Maaf. The film is backed by Dinesh Vijan and is directed by Karan Sharma. This will be Karan’s second feature film, previously he has directed a few episodes of Huma Qureshi starrer Maharani and for Dinesh Vijan’s production house he has already directed Shiddat 2 with Sunny Kaushal and Wamiqa Gabbi in the lead.
At one point it was rumored that Kartik Aaryan was part of this film but Kartik took to social media to deny the rumors. Details about the storyline and character details are underwraps for now but Wamiqa Gabbi has been paired opposite Rajkummar in the film. Wamiqa also has Varun Dhawan’s Baby John in the pipeline.
