As the polling booths opened up at 7am in various locations around the city, several Bollywood stars like Janhvi Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, and director Zoya Akhtar, along with their mom, stepped out to cast their vote.
Janhvi Kapoor, dressed in a simple yet elegant hot pink salwar suit, was impossible to miss as she headed to a polling station at a school in Juhu to cast her vote.The young actress, who is awaiting the release of her upcoming sports movie ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’, made sure to fulfil her civic duties. After casting her vote, the actress was seen flashing a bright smile and holding up her inked finger for the cameras. The actress was given a police escort to her waiting car, considering that her presence at the booth drew in a lot of attention from fans and the paparazzi.
