When Sanjay Dutt left the film Ahmed and Firoz Nadiadwala came up to Suniel Sir and asked him if he could do Dutt’s role of being a lovable Don and given his old friendship and deep love with Firoz, Suniel agreed. In fact Suniel Sir even took permission from old buddy Sanjay Dutt if he’s ok with him taking up the role and only when he agreed did Suniel sir went ahead with the role “informed the source to ETimes.
Our source also added that Suniel is not only excited about his role which is extremely challenging but is also excited about Jackie Shroff stepping in as that particular role is full of swag and flamboyance and the role should have gone to Jackie in the first place.
