In a joint statement to Delhi Times, the now former couple said, “We have mutually and amicably decided to part ways.Through this shift in our lives, the best interests and welfare of our two children are and will be of utmost importance to us.”

During an interview with India Today, Esha revealed feeling pressured to maintain an active social media presence. Reflecting on the impact of online comments, she admitted, “Of course, it reaches.” She further elaborated that while some comments resonate positively, others can deeply affect her. Despite this, she emphasized the necessity to manage such feedback, acknowledging that being part of social media entails dealing with both positive and negative opinions. Esha also expressed concerns about how news about her reaches her children, considering their young age.
Meanwhile, Esha recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of her film ‘Yuva’ with a heartfelt note on Instagram. She expressed gratitude to director Mani Ratnam for his directorial magic and praised her co-stars Ajay Devgn and Suriya for their contributions to the project. Recalling amusing moments on set, she fondly remembered conversing with Ratnam in Tamil, leaving Ajay Devgn puzzled. She praised Suriya as a man of few words off-camera but dynamic and engaging while filming. Esha concluded her post expressing pride in being part of both the Tamil and Hindi versions of the film.
