Sharvari Wagh has recently received overwhelming reviews for her performances in ‘Munjya’ and ‘Maharaj.’ Now, her latest collaboration with John Abraham for the action thriller ‘Vedaa’ is gaining attention. Directed by Nikkhil Advani, the movie hit theaters today (August 15). In a recent interview, the actress responded to comparisons between Alia Bhatt and her.
During a conversation with YouTuber Shubhankar Mishra, Sharvari was referred to as the next Alia Bhatt, but she expressed her desire to set a new example for others. While Sharvari praised Alia as a true superstar, she emphasized her ambition to carve out her own identity in the industry. She hopes that one day, people will mention her name as an example for others, just as they do with Alia today.

Sharvari Wagh Seeks Divine Blessings Before ‘Vedaa’ Hits The Screens

When asked about the similarities in their film choices and whether she envisions her career following a similar path, Sharvari admitted that Alia’s work inspires her. She admires how Alia consistently delivers outstanding performances, making audiences forget the actress behind the character. Sharvari revealed that her own ambition as an actress has always been to portray a wide range of characters, striving to surprise audiences with her versatility. She considers it a compliment when viewers don’t see her, but instead, see the character she brings to life on screen.
‘Vedaa’ also stars Tamannaah Bhatia, Abhishek Banerjee, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Kshitij Chauhan in key roles.
Sharvari is set to star in the upcoming female-led spy thriller ‘Alpha,’ where she will share the screen with Alia Bhatt. Both actresses are part of the expanding YRF Spy Universe.
