The Tamil fil m ‘GOAT’ which saw a 43% dip on day 2 of its release, managed to pick up on Saturday and the film has now seen a growth in a domestic market and it has grossed more than Rs 100 crore at the box office. The movie on day4 grossed Rs 43 crore and on day 2 it grossed Rs 26 core, now the film on Saturday, in respective to the weekend holiday it made Rs 33 crore at the box office showing a rise and the film has now made more than Rs 100 crore.
Directed by Venkat Prabhu, ‘GOAT’ stars Vijay, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Sneha, Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Laila, Ajmal, Jayaram, Mohan, Parvathi Nair, Vaibhav, Yogi Babu and Premji in lead roles and the music for it is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.The science fiction action drama was released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi worldwide and the Hindi version of the film has made Rs 2.15 crore at the box office. Following Vijay‘s ‘Master’, it is ‘GOAT’ that has got a good oepening in the Hindi speaking states.
The Telugu version of the film has made Rs 1.75 and the movie is said to have crpssed Rs 155 crore globally as it minted more than $5 million in the US, according to Sacnilk. The movie is said to cross Rs 200 crore this weekend. The film is already a blockbuster hit and the movie is said to be the highest Tamil opener and the film has already became the highest grosser of the year as well beating ‘Raayan’, ‘Maharaja’ and ‘Indian 2’.
