Diljit Dosanjh cryptically reacts to sarcastic video on his expensive concert tickets | – Times of India

Singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh, who is set to embark on his ‘Dil-Luminati’ India Tour, is reacting to the chatter around the ticket prices of his upcoming shows.
The singer was in the news lately when tickets to the concert sold out within minutes. Many fans took to social media to share their disappointment over being unable to buy tickets, while some others slammed the high ticket prices ranging from Rs 1499 to Rs 25,000.
In response to the buzz, comedian and influencer Saloni Gaur posted a satirical video poking fun at the ticket prices and sparking off an unlikely debate. In the video, Gaur plays two characters: one supporting concertgoers and another criticising the expense, began the sketch advising young fans to “spend money wisely.” She then went on to troll those willing to pay Rs 10,000 for a concert ticket only to be seated so far away from the stage that “the singer looks like an ant.”Gaur’s pro-concert character suggests that those complaining about ticket prices were upset because they couldn’t get one and ended the sketch by offering an extra ticket to the other person, in turn ending the debate to the tune of ‘Joker’ by Harrdy Sandhu.
Diljit, who caught the clip, made sure to leave a ‘like’ on the post that didn’t go unnoticed by fans on social media.
The Indian leg of Dosanjh’s ‘Dil-Luminati Tour’ has set records, with 2.5 lakh tickets sold, making it the highest-grossing concert tour in the country. In a statement, Dosanjh expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming response, stating, “The love, the energy, it’s truly humbling! I’m so grateful to everyone who managed to get a ticket. Trust me, this is going to be an experience like no other.”

For those who missed out, Dosanjh hinted at possible good news, saying, “There may be some good news… I promise to make it worth the wait!”
The tour will kick off in New Delhi on October 26, with performances across major cities, including Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Pune, Kolkata, and will conclude in Guwahati on December 29.
