‘Border 2’ is the highly anticipated sequel of JP Dutta’s ‘Border’ (1997). The film stars Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh and Varun Dhawan. Now, as per the report by Pinkvilla, Border 2 is set to go on floors on November 25 in North India.
The report stated that ‘Border 2’ has been ongoing for nearly a year, and the team is now preparing to begin filming on November 25. Anurag Singh and his team are set to start location scouting within the week, with Jammu and Srinagar identified as the first two key locations.
The report also revealed that the team plans to shoot much of the film in real locations near India’s border areas, especially around special armed force zones, to provide the film with an authentic and rustic feel.
According to the report, the film will be filmed at real locations, with some dramatic moments and action scenes included to enhance the film’s realism. The aim is to create a high-energy yet authentic war film. Bhushan Kumar, JP Dutta, and director Anurag Singh are fully committed to delivering a cinematic spectacle that will make the audience proud while honouring the legacy of the original ‘Border’.
Sunny Deol announced Border 2 in June this year, stating, “A soldier is returning to fulfill a 27-year-old promise. India’s biggest war film, #Border2.” ‘Border 2’ will be directed by Anurag Singh, known for his work on the Akshay Kumar-starrer Kesari.
Meanwhile, the casting for the other key characters in ‘Border 2’ is underway.
