The actress, on Wednesday, took to her handle to give fans a glimpse of her script for the second season which will be directed by Joe Russo, of the Russo Brothers duo. Sharing the exciting update on her Instagram Stories, PeeCee said in the caption, “It’s on! ‘Citadel 2’ @therussobrothers.”
Besides sharing an update on the show, the actress also posed for a cool mirror selfie and shared that her colourfull and comfy tee in her picture was in fact a gift she received from fellow Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma.
Sending the actress a shout-out, Priyanka wrote, “Still love my @chachachaudhary_official t-shirt. Thx @anushkasharma.”
‘Citadel’, the global spy series directed and produced by the Russo Brothers, will see Priyanka returning as the elite spy Nadia Sinh, alongside Richard Madden as Mason Kane. The show, which weaves action-packed espionage with memory-wiping intrigue, has become a flagship project with two spin-off series – ‘Citadel: Diana’ and ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’ – awaiting their releases in the months ahead.
Before Priyanka could confirm that work on the series had officially commenced, photos of Stanley Tucci in action on the sets began doing the rounds online. Joe Russo, will reportedly direct much of season 2, before moving on to begin work on the highly anticipated ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ and ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ with brother Anthony Russo.
