The Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer Stree 2 has been a box office triumph since its release, continuing to captivate audiences. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film has now surpassed lifetime box office collections of major blockbusters such as Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal, and Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2, securing its place among the top 3 highest-grossing films in India.
Despite its ongoing success, Stree 2 registered its lowest single-day total at the box office recently. According to Sacnilk, the film is expected to collect Rs 60 lakh on Monday, day 47, bringing its total collection to Rs 588.70 crore.
Remarkably, the film added another Rs 5 crore nett over its seventh weekend, a record for a movie in its seventh week. With Gandhi Jayanti approaching and no major releases scheduled next week, Stree 2 is poised for another steady stretch at the box office.

According to Box Office India, Stree 2 became the first film to collect Rs 150 crore nett in both the Mumbai and Delhi/UP circuits. In Delhi alone, the film crossed Rs 50 crore nett, marking a historic achievement. Comparatively, in 2008, Ghajini was the first film to reach Rs 10 crore nett in Delhi city, showcasing just how far box office numbers have grown in 16 years.
Additionally, Stree 2 grossed Rs 50 crore nett in East Punjab and Gujarat/Saurashtra. In Punjab, its numbers are on par with Animal and Gadar 2, while in Gujarat, though it trails Gadar 2, it has outperformed other 500-crore club films released post-pandemic.
Stree 2 also stars Abhishek Banerjee, Pankaj Tripathi, and Aparshakti Khurana, with special appearances by Tamannaah Bhatia and Akshay Kumar, further adding to its star-studded appeal.
