Actor and politician Govinda got shot accidentally with his own revolver on Tuesday morning and was instantly rushed to the hospital. This news was shared by a senior Mumbai police official. This news left everyone shocked but here’s what exactly happened.
Govinda’s manager Shashi Sinha told ANI, that the actor was getting ready to leave for Kolkata. That’s when he was keeping his licensed revolver in the case.It fell from his own hand and a bullet got fired in his leg.
This incident reportedly took place at around 4:45 am in the morning when he was cleaning his own gun. He was taken to the Criticare hospital in Juhu which is near his house. His leg got several injured and he lost out on a lot of blood. While he’s out of danger, his leg is hurt. The police is soon expected to take his statement about what exactly happened. His wife is also expected to give her statement, according to reports. The doctor has removed his bullet and his condition is fine now. The actor is currently recuperating in the hospital.
The cops will be investigating the matter as to why the actor was cleaning his revolver in the wee hours of the morning. For those not in the know, Govinda recently joined politics again, as he joined Maharashta CM Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena party.
