Ananya Panday recently gave a peek into her private life during the promotions of her thriller film CTRL. The young star spoke about her second boyfriend from school and how he used the excuse of cheating to break up with her.
In conversation with Netflix India, Ananya revealed that her then-boyfriend, who was at football camp, spread a rumour that he had kissed another girl.She confronted him, at school, during what she called a “full showdown.”
The CTRL actress said how upset she was, stating, “I had a full showdown, and I was like, ‘You suck and all that stuff.’ Then we broke up.”
However, within a short time after the dramatic face-off, he wrote to her assuring that he had never been one to betray. Instead, he went ahead to elaborate that what he had been inventing was the story of cheating so as to dump her. In the post-reflection, Ananya confesses that both scenarios-being cheated on and lied to in a bid to be dumped-were painful at par.
This isn’t the first time Ananya has seen herself in gossip columns – she’s had previous romances that have often been up for scrutiny, not least with actor Aditya Roy Kapur, with whom she was rumored to have been dating for about two years before they split up earlier this year.
Now, Ananya is reported to be in a relationship with former US model Walker Blanco.
