Dara Kristen Hayes (born 27 March 1992), known as Tigerlily, is a Australian DJ, Producer and Wellness enthusiast.
From the age of 4 she attended music school, and she started DJing at the age of 18. She completed a Bachelor of Media and Communications majoring in Marketing and Sociology at the University of Sydney. She was the runner up in the 2011 Your Shot DJ competition and was voted the 9th DJ of 2013 within the InTheMix Awards. Her 2015 single, “Paradise”, reached #67 on the ARIA singles chart.
With her vibrant personality and DJ style, Tiger lily has fast become a hero in her home town of Sydney and one of the hottest commodities in the Australian dance music scene, Recently voted the #12 DJ in the country in Australia’s renowned ITM top 50 DJ Poll for 2013.
She has played many shows across Australia, including regional centres like Wagga Wagga and Albury. As of September 2016, she went on an international tour with shows in Vancouver, Las Vegas and Seattle and has since continued giving concerts world wide. Tigerlily’s music is currently being released through Island Records in Australia and Casablanca Records in the USA which are both a division of Universal Music Group.
The recognition of Tigerliy’s supreme talent from industry leaders has led to residencies at some of the most renowned events and venues in the country including Pacha, The World Bar & Soho in Sydney and Red Square in Adelaide to name but a few as well as gracing the stage at Australia’s major festivals Sterosonic and Future Music Festival.
On stage, Tigerlily’s love for music transcends into captivating performances bringing about an exciting fusion of electro and techno with some popular vocals and a hit or two thrown in the mix.
In April 2019 Tigerlily was cast in Ford Like You Meant It four-episode mini series, alongside Australian model and Muay Thai fighter Lilian Dikmans, World Champion surfer Harley Ingleby, and podcaster Matt Purcell.
