A former star of “The Bachelorette” has just become a mother for the first time. Andi Dorfman welcomed a daughter with her husband, Blaine Hart. She took to Instagram to share the exciting news.
Andi Dorfman’s Daughter Was Born After 28 Hours of Labor
On December 20, Dorfman shared a huge baby update via her Instagram Stories. “28 hours of labor later … and we are officially a party of 3,” she captioned the photo.
The snapshot showed the newborn baby girl’s fingers wrapped around Dorfman’s index finger. Dorfman’s husband wrapped his hand over his wife’s.
A second Instagram Story showed Hart holding a bottle of champagne in one hand as he stood in Dorfman’s hospital room.
A bouquet, a pink teddy bear, a greeting card, and a container of takeout food sat in front of Dorfman. Hart was grinning from ear to ear, which appeared to be a mix of perhaps excitement and pride.
Dorfman’s caption on the photo read, “Our rock! Already taking the best care of daughter and mom!”
In her initial Instagram Story announcing the baby’s arrival, Dorfman withheld the newborn’s name and a photo of her face. “The Bachelorette” star will likely share those delightful tidbits on Instagram or via a media outlet soon.
‘The Bachelorette’ Star Revealed Her Pregnancy in August
Dorfman revealed her pregnancy via Instagram on August 4. A couple of weeks later, “The Bachelorette” star posted a video that captured the couple learning they were expecting.
Along with the sweet video, she wrote, “Finding out our life is about to change.”
The video showed her with Hart and the couple looked at four pregnancy tests in a row before Dorfman accepted the exciting results. A separate post showed the couple learning they were having a girl at a gender reveal surrounded by extended family.
As People noted, Dorfman and Hart wed in Italy in May 2023.
The couple initially met before she appeared on Juan Pablo Galavis’ season of “The Bachelor” and subsequently led her own season of “The Bachelorette.”
Hart and Dorfman reconnected in 2021, after her engagement to “The Bachelorette” winner Josh Murray ended. Hart proposed in March 2022.
After getting married, Dorfman gushed to People, “I’ve waited a long time for this day, and he’s my person. Getting to spend my life with Blaine and being in love with him as much as I am is something that’s like a dream come true to me.”
