Former “The Bachelorette” star Andi Dorfman is now a mom, as she just welcomed her first child. On December 22, she shared her newborn’s name and first public photos of her face.
Andi Dorfman’s Daughter’s Name Is Harper Bell Hart
Dorfman shared the news in an Instagram post. “Introducing … Harper Bell Hart,” she wrote.
The first photo in the post showed Dorfman holding her daughter as her husband, Blaine Hart, sat next to her on the hospital bed. He wrapped one arm around Dorfman’s shoulder, pulling her close to him.
Dorfman wrote, “Our sweet girl came into this world at a solid 7lbs 13 ounces and towering tall like her Daddy at 20.5 inches!”
She gushed, “We are more in love with her than we could ever have imagined.”
“I cry on the spot just looking at her and Dad is completely wrapped around her cute little finger,” Dorfman added.
Hart chose the baby’s middle name, Bell, which has a sentimental meaning for the couple. Dorfman explained that “Bell” is short for “Bellissima,” which is Italian for “beautiful.”
Dorfman explained the name was “an ode to a place that has been a magical part of so many milestones in our lives and now will continue to be a part of her for forever.”
The Couple’s Romance Began in Italy & They Wed There
As Dorfman noted, Italy has a special place in the couple’s hearts. In May 2023, Dorfman shared a couple of photos on her Instagram page and explained the country’s significance in their relationship.
Hart and Dorfman first met at a party during college, but their relationship didn’t start then. Years later, in 2021, they both happened to be in Italy when he reached out to ask her out for a drink.
The sparks flew that time, and the two returned to Italy in 2023 for their wedding.
In the caption of her Instagram post introducing her baby, Dorfman wrote, “An enormous thanks to our girl for making us the most mushy, proud, sappy parents ever! This is truly the best gift we have ever received.”
Bachelor Nation flooded the comment section of Dorfman’s post with congratulatory notes.
Catherine Giudici Lowe wrote, “Congratulations!! She’s perfect!”
Haley Ferguson added, “Harper 😍🩷 she’s beautiful!! Congratulations. ✨”
