Actress Demi Moore opened up about her ex-husband Bruce Willis, her career, and one of her past film hits, in a wide-ranging interview with Variety.
“We will always be a family, just in a different form,” Moore told Variety of Willis. “For me, there was never a question. I show up because that’s what you do for the people you love.”
According to Variety, Moore visits Willis “weekly, ensuring their daughters and his wife and children feel supported.”
“I hope it’s encouraging for others to see that there’s a different way to do things. There is life after divorce. There is a way to co-parent with love,” she told the publication.
In February 2023, the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration posted a statement from the Willis family that explained Bruce Willis’s diagnosis and medical condition. Willis is remarried to wife Emma Heming Willis, with whom he has two daughters. He has three daughters with Moore.
“As a family, we wanted to take this opportunity to thank you all for the outpouring of love and compassion for Bruce over the past ten months. Your generosity of spirit has been overwhelming, and we are tremendously grateful for it. For your kindness, and because we know you love Bruce as much as we do, we wanted to give you an update,” the statement says.

Moore is experiencing a career resurgence at the moment.
“This whole journey has just been a shock and awe,” Moore told Variety of her Academy Award-nominated acting turn on “The Substance.”
“I had no expectations, so everything has been a surprise, and honestly, that’s a really beautiful place to be sitting in,” she told the publication.
“We’ve all heard the narrative — women of a certain age in Hollywood are discarded, overlooked,” she told Variety. “But look at what’s happening now. There’s interest in our stories. There’s room for us. And that’s exciting.”
Before “The Substance,” she briefly felt her career was waning, according to Variety.

She also shared how she perceives the ending of her 1993 hit “Indecent Proposal.”
“Okay, here’s my dark version. The real joke is on Gage (played by Robert Redford) because Diana drugged him on the night in question. He doesn’t remember that nothing actually happened. And that million? It’s back in their bank account. They just had to lay low for a while. Boom! They win,” Moore said to Variety.
“I had hit a low point where I didn’t feel like I was expanding like I wasn’t being challenged,” she told the site. “And I thought, maybe the universe is telling me I need to do something else. But then ‘The Substance’ came along, and I thought, ‘Okay, this I can dive into. This is something I can bring all of myself to.’”
