Hallmark star Tamera Mowry-Housley revealed her kids have been asking for another sibling, and she provided a comical reaction.
As People noted, Mowry-Housley and her husband, Adam Housley, have a son and a daughter already. The couple wed in May 2011 and their son Aden, now 12, was born in November 2011. Their daughter Ariah, now 9, arrived in July 2015.
Mowry-Housley, 46, doesn’t seem interested in getting pregnant again. However, she left the door to family expansion cracked a bit by suggesting the idea of adoption might be considered.
Plenty of Mowry-Housley’s Instagram followers felt similarly to the “Scouting for Christmas” star in terms of having any more kids of their own. However, a lot of fans encouraged her to seriously consider adoption or even trying to have another biological child.
Tamera Mowry-Housley’s Response Was ‘Whoa’
On January 17, Mowry-Housley shared a fun reel on her Instagram page that addressed the possibility she might expand her family.
Text on the short video read, “WHEN THE KIDS START ASKING ME FOR ANOTHER BROTHER OR SISTER.” The video itself showed the Hallmark star popping up in various spots in her living room with a mix of surprised facial expressions. With every new popup, another expression of “Whoa” could be heard.
In the caption, she wrote, “Unless we adopt! 🙏🏽🫶🏽 This momma, her eggs and her body is done! 🤣 I’m still working off the pregnancy weight from Ariah. Any other mommas relate? Or had some fun surprises 🤪”
Fans Provided Encouragement in Various Ways
“My two are 11 and 13 and have just started asking for another sibling because apparently they don’t like each other,” joked one of Mowry’s Instagram followers.
Another fan encouraged, “I say do it! I’ll be 43 this month and would love another baby in the future!”
“We’re siding with the kids, 🤣🤣🤣” teased a separate fan.
“YALLLLL she posted this to have somebody agree w her not yall tryna egg her on (no pun intended), 😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣” wrote someone in Mowry’s defense.
A different fan suggested, “Adoption is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! DO IT. 💕”
“Girl you can do it, you will probably have twins, 😂” read another response. As Mowry-Housley’s fans know, she has a twin sister, Tia Mowry. The possibility of having twins with another pregnancy would be very real.
A different fan revealed, “We had 2 fun surprises 13 years after I was done. 😂😂😂😂”
