Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce celebrating the Kansas City Chiefs AFC Championship

Jason Kelce Revealed Who He Would Be Rooting For in the Super Bowl Months Ago

No one attending the Super Bowl has likely been asked who they are rooting for more than Jason Kelce. After all, he played all 13 seasons as the center for the Philadelphia Eagles, while his little brother, Travis Kelce, stars as the tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs. Jason might seem torn, but he actually revealed his pick before the season even started.

Jason Kelce Says He Will ‘Always Be An Eagle’

In a resurfaced clip from their hit “New Heights” podcast from all the way back in March, a fan wrote in and asked Jason who he would be cheering for if the Eagles and the Chiefs faced off in the 2025 Super Bowl.

“I will root for the Eagles, of course,” Jason answered without hesitation..

“This is (expletive),” Travis responded.

“Because I will always be an Eagle,” he said. “First and foremost. I’ll also root for Travis to have a good game, of course, cause he’s my brother, but nah, I’ll definitely be cheering on the Eagles.”

He doubled down in a more recent episode by dressing head to toe in Eagles gear.

Adding to his decision has to be the fact that this year’s Super Bowl is a rematch of the 2023 game, which saw Travis and the Chiefs beat Jason and the Eagles in what fans had dubbed the “Kelce Bowl.”

A game that Jason admitted this week on “New Heights” is the one game he would go back in time to change the outcome.

Jason and Kylie Kelce’s Daughters Are Cheering for ‘Uncle Travy’

Jason may chant “Fly, Eagles Fly” on Sunday, but his daughters will cheer for one person in particular—their beloved Uncle Travy—from home.

On her hit podcast, “Not Gonna Lie,” Kylie Kelce, a diehard Eagles fan, shared that their three daughters—Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 3, and Bennett, 23 months—will wear custom shirts while watching their uncle in action from home.

“I will say we got the girls ‘Go Uncle Trav’ shirts because they love their uncle and, of course, love cheering him on,” Kylie said.

“And to be fair, they love cheering on the Birds too, but he is our family, and I want to make sure the girls feel included,” she added.

During a press interview ahead of the game, Travis acknowledged the thoughtful gesture and said it “warms” his heart.

“The fact that the girls will wear a ‘Go Uncle Travy’ shirt warms my heart and gives me something else to fight for. Hopefully, I can make them proud and put a few smiles on their faces throughout the game,” he told ABC.

Taylor Swift and the ‘Whole’ Kelce Family Will Also Be Cheering On Travis Kelce at the Super Bowl

Jason also confirmed that his and Kylie’s daughters won’t be the only ones cheering for the future Hall of Fame tight end—his longtime love, Taylor Swift, and the rest of Travis’ crew will also show their support.

“Yeah, I think everybody’s coming in,” the former Philadelphia Eagles center told People. “I mean, I don’t want to speak for everybody, but I think obviously, our whole family, I believe Trav and Taylor, his family, and his friends will all be there. I mean, Trav always travels full.”

Fans can watch Travis and the Kansas City Chiefs try to win their third Super Bowl in a row—something that has never been done—when they take on the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX on Sunday, February 9, on Fox.
