Nearly a year after quietly filming transformations made to homes and businesses in the central Florida town of Sebring, longtime HGTV stars Ben and Erin Napier can finally spill the beans on their new season of “Home Town Takeover.”
On January 30, 2025, HGTV announced that the third installment of the Napiers’ spin-off series will premiere on March 9 at 8 p.m. Eastern time. As the Napiers oversaw the revitalization of Sebring for the new season, they conducted “over a dozen renovation projects across homes, local businesses and public spaces, bolstered by 13 all-star HGTV and Food Network talent,” per an HGTV press release.

The Napiers are known for revitalizing their own hometown of Laurel, Mississippi, on their hit show “Home Town” and are passionate about helping other small towns find their spark again. In the first season of “Home Town Takeover” in 2021, they transformed the town of Wetumpka, Alabama. In 2023, they did the same in Fort Morgan, Colorado.
Now they’ve moved on to Sebring, which boasts 100 area lakes and one of the nation’s oldest speedways, but has been damaged by hurricanes and its formerly “bustling downtown shopping district” is now riddled with empty storefronts, per HGTV.
“Sebring has a lake, a racetrack and a park in the center of town,” Ben said in a statement. “All the puzzle pieces are there, but somehow they’re still struggling.”
Erin added, “In order to turn this place around, we’re helping the town’s biggest changemakers, so they can keep transforming people’s lives. We’ll use everything we’ve learned from years of community revitalization efforts to keep this town’s heart beating.”
In the first episode, the Napiers will partner up again with their friends and “Fixer to Fabulous” stars Dave and Jenny Marrs, who divided the renovation work with them during season 2. This time, the Marrs will help them give makeovers to an outdated soda shop and the home of a local kindergarten teacher.
Across the series’ six episodes, the Napiers will oversee work on over a dozen projects with help from other stars, too: “Renovation Island” stars Bryan and Sarah Baeumler, “Down Home Fab” couple Chelsea and Cole DeBoer, Kamohai and Tristyn Kalama of “Renovation Aloha,” Florida natives and “100 Day Dream Home” stars Brian and Mika Kleinschmidt, “Help! I Wrecked My House” star Jasmine Roth, designer Veronica Valencia of “Revealed” and Food Network chef Mika Leon.

In February 2024, the Napiers and HGTV announced that Sebring had been chosen as the next site of “Home Town Takeover,” sharing video of them telling the townspeople the news.
At the time, Ben told Jennifer Hudson on her talk show, “It’s a really interesting town that we are really excited (about). We are cautiously optimistic about it. This show is really hard to make. There’s going to be a lot of special guests coming, a lot of people coming in to help, but there’s going to be a lot of work that’s going to go into it.”
Filming wrapped in late May, according to a post from their production company. During the three-month shoot, they brought their daughters Helen, now 7, and Mae, 3, along for the adventure. Since they didn’t want to leave their girls at home in Mississippi while they worked in Florida, they had to get creative with their schedules.
They coordinated with their production and construction crews to film when Helen’s school had long weekends or days off from school, they told People in June, but she still missed 19 days of school — just under the 21 maximum allowed.
The third season of “Home Town Makeover” premieres on March 9 at 8 p.m. Eastern time.
