Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce posted a four-word pre-Super Bowl game message after being photographed out on the town with Taylor Swift.
“🗣️Don’t peak too soon!!” Kelce wrote on Instagram, along with a video of football highlights featuring him.
According to Page Six, Kelce’s message came after fans weighed in on his decision to go on a date night with girlfriend Taylor Swift on Friday, although it’s not clear whether it was a message in response to that.
Kelce and the Chiefs take on the Philadelphia Eagles on February 9, 2025, for the Super Bowl in New Orleans. Swift is expected to be in attendance.

Fans reacted to Kelce’s post. “So happy that my Travvy made it to the big game✨✨✨” wrote one.
“Ring season!! 💍 Go get another one!!!!! 🫡” a fan commented, which may have been a comment with double meaning due to rampant fan speculation that Kelce would propose to Swift at the Super Bowl.
“Dance Sunday away! You’ve got this have fun! 🏈🔥❤️🙌”
Kelce posted the video on February 8. “The GOAT and no one on this planet can tell me different!” wrote another person.

According to Nola.com, Swift and Kelce went on a double date in New Orleans with Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany Mahomes.
Nola News shared video of the couples and wrote on Instagram, “Taylor Swift has arrived. It wasn’t a dive bar on the east side (where you at), but she and beau Travis Kelce had an intimate dinner with Patrick and Brittany Mahomes at the ‘sexiest restaurant’ in New Orleans ahead of Super Bowl LIX.”
Swift and Kelce could be seen holding hands in the video.
Swift wore a short black dress for the outing. According to Nola.com, the couples dined at a French restaurant called Lilette.
According to Nola.com, the couples were at the restaurant “for a few hours and had dinner in a private room” as a crowd gathered outside when word spread of the outing. According to Nola.com, football legend Joe Montana was also at the restaurant but was not with Swift’s party, which departed the restaurant around 10 p.m.
Swift hasn’t posted on Instagram about the Super Bowl, but last year she attended in a suite along with a bevy of celebrity friends.
