3 Things We Learned From Meghan Markle’s Valentine’s Day Post to Prince Harry

On February 14, Meghan Markle uploaded a sweet tribute to her husband, Prince Harry, in honor of Valentine’s Day.

“Back home taking care of our babies, and missing my Valentine, as he continues on at the Invictus Games, changing lives and reminding all of us of the power of healing and resilience through these incredible veterans and their families. Beyond proud of my husband and what he’s created,” Markle captioned the Instagram post.

“My love, I will eat burgers & fries and fish & chips with you forever. Thank you for you,” she continued, adding the hashtag “love wins” and signing off with “As ever.”

But what’s in a photo? In this case, a lot.

Meghan Markle Drinks Red Wine

Markle’s Instagram share included a photo of her and her husband kissing while enjoying a meal together. On the table in front of them, Markle had ordered a hamburger and some french fries, which she made mention of in her Instagram caption.

The Duchess of Sussex consumed more of the burger — with the bun — than the french fries, many of which remained on her plate. In the foreground sits a glass of red wine.

Meanwhile, Harry opted for fish and chips with a side of coleslaw that appeared untouched at the time the photo was taken. It’s unclear what beverage he had with the meal, as his glass appears to have been filled with water.

The couple may have also shared an appetizer of chicken wings, judging by the bones on their respective plates.

Meghan Markle Isn’t Afraid of PDA

Something else that’s clear in the black-and-white photo that Markle shared is her openness to public displays of affection. Aside from her and Harry sharing a kiss, she also gently placed her hand on the side of his beard, making the moment a little more intimate.

Although their relationship has been scrutinized a great deal over the years, Markle isn’t afraid of letting everyone know just how she feels about her husband — and their relationship.

Her comment “love wins,” seems to be a message to all of those haters who doubted that what she and Harry found together.

Meghan Markle Is Proud of Prince Harry’s Work With the Invictus Games

Also in her caption, Markle let everyone know just how proud she is of her husband. Harry founded the Invictus Games in 2014, and it has become a passion project for him.

The Games are similar to the Olympics, but consists of wounded or sick veterans and service members.

Markle was on-hand for the 2025 games in Vancouver, though she left before the closing ceremonies. In her caption, she shared just how proud she is of her man.
