According to People, Sean Lennon feels lucky to be the son of someone so talented.
“I just feel so lucky that I get to do good by my dad, you know?” he told People.

When Lennon died at the hands of a fan, Sean Lennon was only 5 years old, People reported.
On Instagram, Sean goes by the name Sean Ono Lennon. His page contains a large photo collage of his mom, Yoko Ono.
On X, Lennon frequently weighs in on topics, including his dad, music and the state of the world.
“On the ‘red carpet’ a journalist asked me if I were to make a record with my father today what style of music would it be. I said ‘mumble rap.’ They didn’t laugh. They just said ‘oh’ and smiled,” he wrote on X.
“I think overall people are less easily fooled now than they were in the past. Part of the disintegration of a cohesive society is the result of this awakening. I really hope it leads somewhere good. I worry that it won’t,” he wrote in January.
On New Year’s Day 2025, he wrote, “For the New Year—I still live, I still think; I must still live, for I must still think. Sum, ergo cogito: cogito, ergo sum. To-day everyone takes the liberty of expressing his wish and his favorite thought: well, I also mean to tell what I have wished for myself today, and what thought first crossed my mind this year,—a thought which ought to be the basis, the pledge and the sweetening of all my future life!”
