The British Royal Family‘s Meghan Markle is launching a new lifestyle website called “As Ever.” And it features a rare appearance by her toddler daughter.
As Ever
The “As Ever” landing page shows the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’ three-year-old daughter Lilibet. The little princess is walking hand-in-hand alongside her mom, with palm trees and the Pacific Ocean as the backdrop.
Both Meghan, 43, and Lilibet, are wearing white, walking barefoot across the grass. You can see Lilibet’s long red hair flowing down her back.
Meghan Markle Rebrands Website to Broaden Her Options
In a post on her new Instagram account, Meghan explains why she made the move to rename the lifestyle brand, which was originally called “American Riviera.” In the video, she says, “Last year, I had thought, ‘American Riviera, that sounds like such a great name.’ It’s my neighborhood; it’s a nickname for Santa Barbara, but it limited me to things that were just manufactured and grown in this area,. Then Netflix came on, not just as my partner in the show, but as my partner in my business. which was huge. So I thought about it, and I’ve been waiting for a moment to share a name that I had secured in 2022, and this is the moment, and it’s called As Ever.”
The Duchess goes on to explain what “As Ever” will be. She says, “As Ever essentially means as it’s always been, and if you’ve followed me since 2014 with The Tig, you know I’ve always loved cooking and crafting and gardening — this is what I do. And I haven’t been able to share it with you in the same way for the past few years, but now I can, so as things are starting to trickle out there, I wanted you to hear it from me first.”
“Of course, there will be fruit preserves; I think we’re all clear at this point that jam is my jam. But there are so many more products that I I just love, and now it’s time to share them with you. So I just can’t wait for you to see it. Thanks guys!” says Meghan.
Meghan Markle’s New Netflix Series Debuts in March
The Netflix show she’s referring to is her new series “With Love, Meghan.”
Originally set to debut in January, Meghan asked Netflix to push back the premiere to March 4 because of the Los Angeles wildfires. In a press release, the Duchess said, “I’m thankful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch, as we focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in my home state of California.”
Meghan is the producer of the eight-episode series. Netflix describes the show as a blend of “practical how-to’s and candid conversation with friends, new and old. Meghan shares personal tips and tricks, embracing playfulness over perfection, and highlights how easy it can be to create beauty, even in the unexpected. She and her guests roll up their sleeves in the kitchen, the garden, and beyond, and invite you to do the same.”
Like “As Ever,” the series focuses on “food, gardening and thoughtful living.” And the Duchess is incorporating her friends into the show. Guests include Roy Choi, Mindy Kaling and Alice Waters.
Meghan lives with husband Prince Harry and children, 5-year-old Archie and 3-year-old Lilibet in Montecito, California. While the series is shot in Montecito, it isn’t shot at their home. According to ELLE, “With Love, Meghan” is shot down the road at an $8 million farmhouse owned by local philanthropists Tom and Sherrie Cipolla
